Zurich takes Fondue season seriously - from cosy wooden chalets to upscale champagne pairings. Whether you're craving something traditional or looking for a chic night out, these are the fondue spots everyone will be talking about this season.
1) Uto Staffel
On Zurich's beloved Uetliberg, the Uto Staffel pairs heartwarming fondue with one of the most spectacular views over Zurich, the lake and the Alps. Getting there is part of the experience: the restaurant sits on the car-free Uetliberg, so you arrive by train from Zurich main station, followed by a short 15-minute walk - a lovely little excursion by itself. Once you arrive, it's all about slowing down: settle in, warm up over a pot of cheese, and take in the sweeping panorama that makes fondue here feel especially memorable.
