Sourdough Pizza Workshop: From Starter to Slice
Dive deep into the world of sourdough pizza with an expert-led, hands-on workshop where participants will learn the secrets behind crafting the perfect sourdough pizza dough. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion with friends or looking for a unique team-building experience with colleagues, this workshop offers a chance to not only master the art of sourdough pizza but also connect over a shared love for good food.
In this intimate setting, participants will explore:
• The values behind ALBA’s commitment to a sustainable food ecosystem and conscious sourcing.
• A nerdy deep dive into the science of pizza dough, focusing on sourdough starter and its role in perfecting the pizza.
• The distinctions between ancient and modern grains, how to select the right flour for pizza dough, and the significance of ash content in flour classification.
• Best practices for caring for your sourdough starter at home, ensuring you can replicate the process with success.
• Essential techniques for kneading, shaping, and baking the dough to perfection.
At the end of the workshop, participants will enjoy a slice of delicious sourdough pizza and meet AULUS, ALBA’s beloved 160-year-old sourdough starter. You’ll even receive a portion of AULUS to take home, along with instructions on how to care for him and access to our WhatsApp Community for ongoing support.
Workshops take place on the first Saturday of each month. The upcoming dates are:

Important Note: The minimum number of participants for the workshop to take place is 8. If this number is not met, the event will be canceled. Participants can book their spot through the same link for any of the listed dates.
